Mark Tizya, Owner
Mark began his construction career in the glass trade right after high school in 1986. After six years as general manager of a European rollshutter company in Vancouver he started Heritage Shade & Shutter in Vancouver in 2003. After 15 years running that business, Mark settled in the Comox Valley and acquired Lifetime Exterior Shades in 2020
The History of Lifetime Exterior Shades
Lifetime Exteriors was founded by Bruce Corra in 1987. Originally, the business focused on supplying and installing siding, but it has now evolved to dealing exclusively with the installation of awnings, screens and patio covers. Known for his courteous manner, fairness, and attention to detail, Bruce ran the business until his retirement in 2020 when Mark Tizya took on the operation of Lifetime Exterior Shades, bringing over 30 years of industry experience to the business.
