Our most popular awnings are the ADALIA EXTREME X3M™ and the TILT-O-SHADE™.
The quality engineered and value-priced ADALIA EXTREME X3M™ retractable awning is designed to combine durability with excellent functionality.
Most parts are made from extruded, thermally treated, and artificially aged aluminum. All parts are resistant to corrosion and are finished with a white, ivory or black powder coating.
Custom colour matching on the frame is available. The slope is adjustable with a hex key and wrench from 0° to 75°. The ADALIA X3M™ is backed by a 10-year warranty.
The awnings are made to each client’s specification, with custom widths starting from 6’2″ wide (in 1″ increments). Available projections: 5’4″, 6’9″, 8’8″, 10’0″ and 11’8″.
Innovatively designed, the ADALIA X3M™ arm shoulder consists of three components made of high-strength extruded aluminum that work in conjunction with one another to provide lateral and vertical stability, and are virtually unbreakable. It features dual inclination modes: a default setting of 0 to 40 degrees, and an optional 35 to 75 degree setting after a simple modification.
ADALIA X3M™ family of awnings arm employs extruded aluminum profiles, strong die-cast and thermally treated aluminum elbows with PVC protected double aircraft cables.
The heavy-duty springs inside the arms apply tremendous force to hold the fabric taut when the awning is extended.
The fixing bracket attaches the lateral arm to the front bar. It uses shock-absorbing components to significantly extend its functional lifespan.
The front lead bar has a modern, slim look with specially engineered internal reinforcement, and gives continuity to the fabric top while still adding strength to the overall system.
The photo at right shows two versions of the Front Bar. The smaller profile on the right is used for smaller awnings. The higher-profile bar on the left is used for awnings wider than 16′ and/or awnings that project 11’8″.
The Square Bar is strong, galvanized and powder-coated. In the photo at right, 40mm square bar with 2mm walls (on the right) is used for projections less than 10′.
The square bar is automatically upgraded to an extruded aluminum 5mm wall, reinforced with architectural ribs (on the left) that prevent it from twisting in large awnings with a projection greater than 10′.
Rolltec® uses a structural galvanized steel roller tube with spring memory to re-bound to its original shape.
A speedy bevel gear with a 5:1 ratio for quick and easy use.
A special feature of this gear is the stopper that prevents the awning from rolling up in the wrong direction.
Since each arm is adjusted individually, the awning can be angled so that one side is higher than the other (for water runoff or more shade on one side of the awning). Note that before retracting the awning, it is important to return the arms to level to avoid fabric distortion.
All parts are made from corrosion resistant materials and most are finished with a white powder coating.
Each awning is manufactured to the client’s specification with custom widths starting from 6’6″ wide (in 1″ increments) and available with projections of 5’5″, 7’0″, 8’6″, 10’2″ and 12’0″.
The TILT-O-SHADE™ comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame.
TILT-O-SHADE™ Arm Shoulder
A robust aluminum arm shoulder with a loop attachment allows independent pitch adjustment for each arm, as determined by the position of the sun or rainfall.
Inclination ranges are from 0° to 45° or from 15° to 60°.
Heavy duty, extruded aluminum arm profiles combined with high strength die-cast joints, powerful springs and rigid stainless steel chain links at the elbows assure fabric tension and system stability at all times.
Self-lubricating bronze bushings are incorporated in every part of the arm that moves around a pin.
TILT-O-SHADE™ Fixing Bracket
The TILT-O-SHADE™ fixing bracket is designed for maximum security at the point of connection between the arm and front bar.
Front lead bar has a modern, slim look with specially engineered internal reinforcement, and gives continuity to the fabric top while still adding strength to the overall system.
In the photo at right, the profile on the right is used for smaller awnings. The profile on the left is used for awnings wider than 16′ and/or that project 11’8″.
